Sofia Parkins

NeuX Rehab Specialist and Flowpresso Technician

With 15 years of experience as a gymnast, Sofia has developed a deep-rooted passion for movement and the body's incredible ability to adapt and evolve. After earning her B.S. in Exercise and Health Sciences from Virginia Tech, she is now pursuing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Master's in Athletic Training at the University of Lynchburg. Alongside her studies, she has spent the past three years as a certified group fitness instructor, teaching Les Mills Bodypump, Pilates, and F45—and most recently, channeling her competitive spirit into the Hyrox arena, completing her first competition and discovering a new passion for functional fitness racing.

Since joining the studio, Sofia has not only deepened her passion for physical health but discovered a growing fascination with lymphatic health and the profound connection between emotional wellbeing, lifestyle, and the body. After personally navigating a time of struggle, she became captivated by the mind-gut connection and the way our emotions shape our physical state. That experience ignited a drive to learn more—particularly through holistic and integrative approaches to wellness. She has since immersed herself in the role of the nervous system in recovery, exploring tools like the Flowpresso system and becoming an integral part of the studio's neuX offerings, both of which have deepened her understanding of how to support the body on every level.

An incredibly active person by nature, Sofia is always seeking new ways to move, train, and grow. Being immersed in such a knowledgeable and inspiring studio environment has accelerated her development—not just professionally, but personally—reshaping the way she moves, teaches, and approaches health. She has expanded her reach as an F45 instructor, taking on additional classes and bringing the same energy and intention that has become her signature. Driven by an unwavering commitment to growth, Sofia continues to show up for her clients and her craft—dedicated to helping others thrive, body, mind, and spirit.
