When I started Impact Your Fitness five years ago, I had a vision: bring together cutting-edge neuromuscular technology, highly individualized neuromuscular therapy, and genuine human connection to help people move and feel better than they thought possible.
Today, that vision is becoming reality—and we're growing faster than I could have imagined.
In the first quarter of 2026 alone, we grew our session volume by 35%. Our clients are seeing measurable results: 30% strength gains in six weeks, 10-20% improvements in symmetry, chronic pain resolved, athletic performance restored. We're not just treating symptoms—we're retraining nervous systems.
And we're just getting started.
The neuromuscular therapy market is at an inflection point. The global neurostimulation devices market is projected to grow from $6.81 billion in 2025 to $10.68 billion by 2030—a 9.4% annual growth rate. North America represents 48% of that market.
But here's what makes this moment unique: there's a massive training gap.
Only four manufacturers in the world produce direct current neuromuscular stimulation devices—the cornerstone technology for effective nerve and muscle retraining. And none of them provide comprehensive clinical training. That creates an immediate opportunity for practitioners who want to master this technology and deliver results other facilities simply can't offer.
At Impact Your Fitness, we're not just using this technology. We're building expertise, developing proprietary protocols, and creating a training framework that will define the future of neuromuscular therapy.
This is where you come in.
Impact Your Fitness is the only facility in the DMV area—and one of very few in the world—combining three critical elements:
1. NeuX Interactive Neuromuscular Stimulation Technology
We use NeuX, the premium direct current neuromuscular stimulation device manufactured in the United States. Unlike competitors who've faced multiple lawsuits for patient harm (documented skin burns, kidney damage), NeuX maintains a completely clean safety record with FDA Level 2 clearance.
NeuX doesn't just treat pain—it identifies exactly where nerve-muscle communication has broken down and retrains the pathways. It's more sensitive than EMG technology, and the results are permanent when applied correctly.
2. Medical-Grade Assessment & Tracking
We use Kinvent strength and symmetry assessment technology to provide objective, measurable data. Our clients don't just "feel better"—they see 30% strength gains and 10-20% symmetry improvements on paper. This isn't subjective. It's provable.
3. Expert Manual Therapy & Mentorship
Our team includes practitioners trained in Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT), advanced manual therapy, and neuromuscular rehabilitation. We don't just hand someone a device—we integrate technology with skilled human assessment and treatment.
The combination is what makes us unique. Technology alone isn't enough. Manual therapy alone isn't enough. It's the integration that creates breakthrough results.
We're not just running a successful studio in Alexandria. We're building something bigger.
Strategic Partnerships: We're developing relationships with orthopedic surgeons and sports medicine physicians to provide pre-surgical optimization and post-surgical rehabilitation for peripheral nerve patients. This positions us at the intersection of medical care and performance optimization—a space very few facilities occupy.
Proprietary Training Programs: We're developing intellectual property around neuromuscular therapy delivery that will eventually scale through training programs, research, and multi-clinic expansion.
Research & Clinical Validation: We're pursuing research partnerships to build clinical credibility and advance the field beyond what manufacturers are currently doing.
This isn't just a job. It's an opportunity to be part of building the future of neuromuscular therapy.
We're looking for a NeuX Specialist to join our Alexandria studio and help us scale this work.
Position Details:
What You'll Do:
Clinical Delivery (70% of time):
Program Development (15% of time):
Client Education & Conversion (15% of time):
You don't need to be an expert in NeuX technology yet—we'll train you. But you do need the right foundation and mindset.
You have:
You are:
Bonus points if you:
1. Learn from the Best
You'll be mentored by me (Jenn Schwartz, CEO and lead neuromuscular therapist) and Liz (our part-time specialist who's co-authoring our neuromuscular therapy manual). We're not just practitioners—we're building the training framework for the next generation of neuromuscular therapists. You'll learn techniques and protocols that aren't taught anywhere else.
2. Master Scarce Technology
NeuX technology is only available through a handful of manufacturers, and very few practitioners know how to use it effectively. This is a chance to develop expertise in a technology that's in high demand and short supply. That expertise will be valuable for the rest of your career.
3. Be Part of Strategic Growth
We're expanding. We're building medical partnerships. We're developing training programs. We're creating intellectual property. If you join now, you're not just filling a position—you're helping build something from the ground up. That means growth opportunities, leadership potential, and the chance to shape the direction of our work.
4. See Real Results
Our clients get measurably better. You'll see 30% strength gains, chronic pain resolved, athletes returning to competition, surgical patients recovering faster. This isn't "feel-good" wellness—this is evidence-based intervention that produces objective outcomes. If you're motivated by actually helping people improve, this is incredibly rewarding work.
5. Flexibility & Balance
20-30 hours per week means you can build a career without burning out. We value quality over quantity, and we're building a sustainable practice model that respects both client outcomes and practitioner wellbeing.
In your first 90 days:
In your first year:
Long-term opportunities:
This role is more than just delivering sessions. It's about being part of a movement to elevate neuromuscular therapy from a niche modality to a mainstream, evidence-based intervention.
The market is growing. The technology exists. But there's a massive gap in training, education, and clinical expertise. That gap is our opportunity.
We're positioning Impact Your Fitness to fill that gap—through clinical excellence, proprietary methodology development, research partnerships, and eventually training programs that will serve practitioners across the country.
If you join us now, you're not just taking a job. You're building a career in a field that's about to explode.

Don't overthink it. I'm not looking for perfect credentials or a specific background. I'm looking for someone who's curious, hungry to learn, and excited about building something meaningful.
Timeline:
Seven years ago, I started Impact Your Fitness because I believed there was a better way to help people move, perform, and live without pain. I'd seen too many people stuck in cycles of temporary relief—massage that felt good for a day, PT that didn't address root causes, training that ignored dysfunction.
I knew the technology existed to actually retrain nervous systems. I knew the manual therapy techniques existed to restore proper movement patterns. But nobody was combining them in a way that was accessible, evidence-based, and genuinely effective.
So I built it.
And now it's working. Our clients are getting results. Our partnerships are forming. Our reputation is growing. The market is ready.
But I can't do this alone.
I need someone who sees what I see—a massive opportunity to transform how we approach neuromuscular dysfunction. Someone who wants to learn, build, and grow with us.
If that's you, I want to hear from you.
